True to it’s name, this hat is most bespeckled. Not to be confused with bespectacled, which is an entirely different sort of hat. Simple colorwork, a convertible brim, and a cheery pompom make this hat a fun little knit that’s sure to get a lot of wear. In super soft Malabrigo, it’s darn cozy, too!

Yarn: 2 skeins Malabrigo Merino Worsted, one in Natural and one in Frank Ochre (worsted weight, 100% merino, 210 yards per skein)

Needles: US size 7/4.5mm 16” circular needle and set of matching dpns (or whatever is necessary for your preferred method of small- circumference knitting)
OR size of needle required to get gauge.

Other tools: Darning needle for weaving ends, stitch marker, pompom maker if desired

Gauge: 18 st and 16 rows to 4 inches in stockinette
