My Aunt Jane always had the most beautiful accessories.  Romantic, classy and elegant in their own right, she carried them well. Scarf is knit in basic stockinette with a beautiful crochet edging. 2 colors were used to highlight the work of each craft.  Imagine how lovely this scarf would be done in one color.  Perhaps an untraditional color such as chartreuse.

Gauge: 6.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette

Approximate Finished Size: 5” x 48”

2 ply Jade Sapphire Cashmere (400 yards) 100% Mongolian cashmere – Driftwood #50
2 ply Jade Sapphire Cashmere/Silk (400 yards) 55% silk / 45% cashmere – Verdigris # 288
* Yarns are interchangeable. The silk/cashmere blend has a lovely sheen, which I found ideal for the crochet edging.
Size 4 needle or size needle to obtain gauge
