Adult hat needs – 2 balls MC and 1 ball of each CC.

Tension/gauge: Correct gauge is crucial for this hat because of the high stitch count. Don’t be afraid to go UP a needle size to get it. The average recommended gauge of this wool is 30 sts to 4” but for this project you must get a looser fabric. Work 24 sts and 34 rows to measure 4x4” in St st stitch using US 3 or 3.25 mm needles in the round.
