of that pesky gauge nonsense to worry about. Just make sure you’re getting a drapey, slinky fabric! It will roll up on itself even after blocking (though less so), but that’s part of the charm. Finish off the ends with tassels, pom poms, fringe, icords, or whatever you can think up!
Yarn: 2 skeins Debbie Bliss Pure Silk in “Taupe” (dk/light worsted weight, 100% silk, 137 yards, 50g). If you make the scarf any larger, you’ll want a third skein, especially for tassels.
Needles: US size 6 straights
Other tools: Darning needle for weaving ends, plus whatever you need to make tassels, pompoms or other decoration at the end
Gauge: Not important, as long as you’re getting a drapey fabric that you like. If you are substituting a yarn that comes in 100g skeins instead of 50g, make sure you have a way to figure out when you have used almost half of it (such as a scale).
