This cowl is insanely simple, easy to resize, and works up quickly. Ladders are created by intentionally dropped stitches, spicing up an otherwise very basic accessory. The super soft merino is deliciously cuddly, whether you wear it as a capelet or more of a cowl. Try introducing stripes or even colorwork for extra pizzazz, adding fun edgings, or maybe even working one in a different weight.

Yarn: 2 skeins Malabrigo Chunky in “Sunset” (chunky weight, 100% merino, 104 yards per skein. You may need additional skeins if you size it up.)

Needles: US size 11 circular needle, 24” or 32”

Other tools: Darning needle for weaving ends, 5 stitch markers (one distinct from the others to use as a round marker)

Gauge: 11.5 st in 4 inches (row gauge not important, just knit to length.)
