Loading... Please wait...A cozy little shawlette that’s a breeze to knit! Starting at the bottom means that each row gets shorter, and the project seems to move faster the closer you get to finishing. An important note on yarn substitution: Malabrigo Sock has more yardage than most sock yarn. If you decide to substitute a different yarn and only buy one 100g skein, you may run short. Luckily if you bind off early, you will be left with a cute little Vshaped scarf that is charming in it’s own right.
Yarn: 1 skein Malabrigo Sock “Turner” (fingering weight, 100% merino, 440 yards.)
Needles: US size 5 circular needle, you will probably want a circular of at least 24” to accommodate all the stitches (though you are knitting flat).
Other tools: Darning needle for weaving ends, stitch marker
Gauge: 23 st and 40 rows to 4 inches in stockinette. Gauge isn’t crucial, though you run the risk of running short of yarn if yours is looser.
