US Size 8 (5mm) circular needles, 20” or longer, or size to obtain gauge
US Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needles, 20” or longer
Double point needles in each size, if you work in the round using double points (Double points also might be helpful for the yoke if you are making the pullover version)
Extra sets of circular needles if you use two circulars to knit in the round
