Knit a fair isle hat with a hemmed brim. You will be given step by step instructions that include a hemmed edge and stranded color work using 3 colors at one time. In addition, you will make and learn to read color work charts. Amy, the designer and instructor for the Florence hat is excellent with color and will guide you through the colorwork process, one stitch at a time.

Pre-Requisite: Must be able to knit, purl, provisionally cast on, work in the round, decrease and use DPN's. You must have made a hat and know how to correct simple mistakes.
Homework: Provisionally cast on, work following the pattern to section 'Hemming the Brim'.
The class will begin with hemming the brim. Completed homework is crucial to the success of this class.
