Measurements: Finished brim flat about 10” wide.
Size: Adult average 22” circumference head.
Yarns used: Super bulky wool such as: Rowan Drift, 100 g - 87 yds - 80 m, 100% Merino Wool, Color twig, Color No 901, No. of balls: 2 (You’ll use about half of the second ball.)
Tension/gauge: Work 12 sts to measure 4 inches in St st using US 13 or 9 mm needles with super bulky wool.
NOTE: This wool normally calls for bigger needles (US 15 – 19) and gets a stitch gauge of (7.5 – 9 sts = 4 inches.) I went down in needle size to get a dense fabric. Please be sure to get gauge!
