Put on your capelet my dear! We are going to sit by the fire in the cottage of the Brothers Grimm. They have many stories to tell. We shall stay awake into the night until we’ve heard every wild, magical, adventurous tale.

Finished measurements measured flat :
S/M: 20” wide at base x 21” from top to bottom.
L/XL: 25” wide at base x 26” from top to bottom.

Note: when measured flat, ribbing takes the capelet in a LOT. It will stretch and has quite a bit of ease and give.

Yarns used: Super bulky wool such as: MC: Rowan Big Wool 100 g - 87 yds - 80 m, 100% Merino, Color Stone, Color No, 61, No. of balls: 3 (5)

Tension/gauge: Work 9 sts = 4” in St stitch using US 15 or 10 mm needles with super bulky wool.

A set of US 15 (10 mm) dpns (used for the gauntlets)
stitch markers, tapestry needle, 8 (11) yds of ribbon.
Tip: consider using strips of fabric instead of ribbon!
