I have yet to see the Northern Lights when in Shetland but I hear they are spectacular! In the meantime I’ll do my own wee dance in these lacey leg warmers!

Sizes
Small (Medium, Large).
Circumference of legwarmer is 9 1⁄4 (10 1⁄4, 11 1⁄2) inches /23 (26, 29) cms unstretched. Intended to be worn with LOTS of negative ease in order to open out the lace.
Shown in size small with 5 inches / 12.5cms negative ease.

Needles
US 4/3.5mm dpns (or long Circular if prefer working in Magic loop)
US 5/3.75mm dpns (or long Circular if prefer working in Magic loop)

Yarn
360 (410, 450) yards fingering weight yarn. Shown in: Quince & Co. Chickadee (181 yrds/166m; 50g; 100 % American Wool) in “Honey”.

Gauge
28 sts and 37 rows= 4 inches in Bead Stitch Lace on US 5/3.75mm needles (unstretched). 32 sts and 36 rows= 4 inches in Twisted Rib on US 4/3.5mm needles (unstretched).
Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain correct gauge.
