With all the yarn choices available, we like to use a slightly hand-painted yarn for this project. Shades of color are greatly enhanced within the dropped stitches. A simple stitch pattern that works up rather quickly.
Just one skein of Pima Silk Hand Paint by Misti Alpaca for the dk version or 2 skeins of Jaipur by Katia for the lace weight version.
Cast on more or less and create your own masterpiece!

I use this pattern quite often in my Beginners Knitting class. We use a provisional cast-on and 3-needle bind-off to make an infinity scarf. People have used wool, cotton, linen and silk yarns. Everyone has loved the project, and equally important, everyone has finished and worn it!

I wanted a scarf that would be very simple. This is just the right pattern.
