Knit from the bottom with a ribbed band and picot hem; in 4 styles - classic cap (above left) or beanie, classic beret (below left) or slouchy beret. Work in one color, or add color changes at the beginning of rounds 1 and 5 for pure magic!
Finished Size: 22" band circumference; 22½ (28)" hat circumference for cap (beret); hat depth is 9 for classic versions, 11½" for slouchy beret or beanie.
Yarn: Sunday Knits 3 ply (225 m/246 yd per 50 gm) Eden (100% merino), Nirvana (92% merino 8% cashmere), Brigadoon (merino tweed) or Angelic (75% merino, 25% angora); Shown in all 4 yarn blends: 225 (275) yds.
Needles: Circular or double-pointed: US Size 2 (3.0 mm) and 5 (3.75 mm).
