And hey, “verse” sounds like “versatile, and it’s definitely that. Wear it as a scarf, neckwarmer, capelet/stole, shrug…heck, I’m sure you could think of a few others. In the right colors and worn in the right way, this wrap could go with just about everything, from jeans to a wedding dress.
Yarn: 2 skeins Malabrigo Silky Merino in Cape Cod (dk weight 51% silk, 49% merino, 150 yards per skein.)
Needles: US size 9
Other tools: Darning needle for weaving ends and ribbon, crochet hook for border (if desired), about 4 yards of ribbon
Gauge: Not crucial, though you may run short of yarn if you deviate. 20 st and 23 rows to 4 inches in stockinette.
