This is a pattern for the max hat & removable crown. Perfect to wear when you are starting a wild rumpus! (Jumper pictured is also available in a separate pattern.)

Size: One size adult medium

Measurements: Hat & Crown fit average adult head 22”

Tension/gauge: Work 13 sts to measure 4” in St stitch using US 10 or 6 mm needles, with super bulky wool.
(Generally the RYC soft tweed calls for 12 = 4” but this is a tighter fabric. Use needle size necessary to get gauge.)

Notions:
A pair of US 10 (6 mm) circular needles 16” long + dpns
A pair of US 8 (5 mm) circular needles 24” long (crown)
A set of US 9 (5.5 mm) double pointed needles (ears)
stitch markers, tapestry needle, 10 blonde bobby pins.

HAT: Super bulky yarn such as: (MC) Rowan RYC Soft Tweed, 50 g - 87 yds - 80 m, 56% Wool 20% Rayon 14% Nylon 10% Silk, Color Oatmeal, Color No. 001, No. of balls: 2
CROWN: Aran weight 100% wool such as: Plymouth Tweed 50 g - 109 yds - 100 m, 100% wool, mustard, Color No, 5322, No. of balls: 2 (need just over one ball.)
